Zepper

For my 60th birthday I bought a little puppy name Zep. He was a mini Dachshund and a special little guy. Right from the first time I saw him he actually came up to me and stood on my foot. He chose me for some strange reason. We did everything together were together 24-7 except for a hospital stay for me. One month ago today while riding up my friends driveway he fell out of the truck. I took him to the Vet but 1 hour later he was gone from my life. I kissed him and told him I loved him before I left to wait for the call one way or another. I just want you to know Zepper I love you and hope to see you again....

Satellite Radio

I discovered the joy of this medium 1 year ago. My ladyfriend bought me an XM radio. although I am almost 64 years and fix computers as a sideline. I found this very easy to activate and learn how to operate. I have enjoyed this very much and now have 3 units. The programming is great from MLB to talk and oldtime radio shows, very neat. The music channels are great like the 50's and 60's of course. It's well worth the 12.95 a month for the 1st and 6.95 for the other 2. While this is still a young medium it holds great promise. The followers of the 2 companies that provide this service are loyal to their provider. This has changed my life much like cable, cellphones and original television. The content is wide always something new to listen and with 160 channels never boring. Just my thoughts for today.....

State of the union

The more I listen to GW's state of the union messages. The more I think he doesn't have a clue. Big oil loves him profits are up and regulation is down. The average american however has neither. Under the impression that less freedom is good for america. Where in the constitution of this great country does it say spying on it's citizens is a good thing. GW our above the law leader and the greatest snowjob artist in history wants full unregulated power. It's time to put a stick through the spokes of this out of control president. Ask the people of the gulf coast what it's like to have GW in the white house. Hired his friend's and Cheney's to do the job and aside from record profits for big oil have not done much. Now the reason for no third term is clear.

Life more or less

The longer I move through this mortal world, all of 63 years at present. The more I realize that no one has a clue about this entire process birth death etc. As much as great thinkers and religion put their personal stamp on life. The more I am inclined to think they should all be instutionalised for their own good. Another great mystery is how a womans mind works. I think these two mysteries would fill and have volumns. With no conclusion what so ever. Just my thoughts for today....

Bush has answer to higher gas prices

GW has once again come to the rescue of the average American. In this time of record energy cost he has formulated a new policy. It's called DRIVE LESS and save money on increased fuel costs. In this daring move GW has proved once again he listens to the plight of the average american. He is not afraid as some have said to go the extra mile for his fellow citizens. As far as fuel costs affecting food prices he will announce next week that we should EAT LESS to keeps food costs down. These two new policies while considered ground breaking by the administration leave us all with the desire to be BUSH LESS....

Steroid use in baseball

I think we have all heard enough of this subject. It's wrong and being dealt with by Major League Baseball as it should. Shaq is a big tall man and he still can't hit a baseball or he would be playing the sport. So size has nothing to do with ability to hit a baseball. Perhaps a little extra pop in the bat from steroid use. You still have to be able to hit the ball. Some teams without heavy hitters in the lineup play small ball. Steal bases and get runners in scoring position. Fun to watch but it does not put asses in the seats like a homerun hitter. Baesball has survived the liveball and deadball era's. I am sure Baseball is alive and well and looking forward to another great season....

GW is a clone

After 4 years of GW in the White House it's plain for all to see this is your Father's Bush administration. From Cheney to now departed Powell this is a cloned presidency. Although the way this guy spends money it has a touch of RR. We now find ourselves the victims of an unpopular occupation in an area of the world where we are certainly not invited guests. This is a president like his Father who starts and never finishes. Like a confused college student who cannot decide on a major. I like to call it the good idea of the day syndrome. So hang on for the next 4 years. As Bette Davis once said it's going to be a bumpy ride....Feb 2005
